Stephen Album Rare Coins is pleased to offer live bidding during their auctions.

What it is: Live bidding during the auction means that you can bid on the auction, while the sale is in progress, from the comfort of your own living room or office - wherever you have a fast computer connection. This service is available free of charge to our regular customers.

What you need: You need a fast internet connection, with cookies enabled.

Recommended browsers: We strongly recommend Firefox. Also usable are Internet Explorer versions 7 and higher, and Safari.

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Our live auction bidding system will not work correctly with Internet Explorer versions 6 or below, or any version of Netscape.

How to log in to bid: You will need only 2 things: your customer number and your e-mail address (as registered with us). If you have any questions about either, please call our office well in advance of the auction: 707-539-2120.

How bidding works: Shortly before the auction begins, you will see a link on our site to enter live bidding. Click on it. You will then see the following screen:

Click on "Login". You will then see the following screen:

Fill in your e-mail address and your customer number and click on "Login". You will then see the following screen:

Click on "Realtime Bidder". You will then see the following screen:

Select the auction and you are ready to go. You will see a screen showing you the current lot, a brief description and (possibly) a photo, and the current bidding. You can bid whenever the "BID" button is green. That's all there is to it!
